Our Place
Welcome to our haven. This is our lakeside-meets-the-mountains tap room in beautiful Squamish, British Columbia, on the Territories of the Skwxẃu7mesh (Squamish) First Nation. We like to keep things simple here. We’ll serve you a great beer that we’re proud of, and give you a place to sit and drink it. If you’d like to take it home, we'll fill your growler or pick up one of ours to put it in. We also sell some of our beers in tall cans & bombers from our fridge in the Tap Room.
We address our guests as our ‘friends’ and treat you that way. We do not tolerate racism, sexisms, homophobia or transphobia. We are an inclusive space, we celebrate and welcome diversity and all folx are welcome. We are family friendly, just make sure you keep an eye on your adults kids, and visa a versa ;). Though your four legged friend can’t come inside, dogs are very welcome to hitch at one of the posts alongside the outer permitter of our patio. We will do our best to seat you close to them whenever possible.
Our beer philosophy is this; make clean, sessionable beers, with the purest ingredients we can source. That way, whether you’re enjoying a flight in house, or picking up a growler for a family BBQ, you can enjoy every bit of it; from the aroma and flavor, to the integrity of the ingredients and the sustainability of our growers. We play the long game here, and the quality of our beer is a big part of that.
For a snack alongside your beer we have a selection of local snacks from Hardbite Chips and Spray Creek Ranch pepperoni sticks. We are also BYOF friendly (outside food) so pack along some snacks or pick up takeout and come settle in beside the fire pit on the patio for some cozy cabin vibes. We believe in synergy and working together with other local businesses. We love a good food truck and our plan is to always have a delicious one parked with us. We are stoked to welcome local owner/operators, James & Lena, and their crew at Flipside Burgers to park their food truck with us as of March 2023. They’re serving up mouthwatering burgers, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, of which you can order from inside the brewery after we have seated and served your beverages from us. We strive to have a beverage option for all, for cheers’ing all around! In addition to our craft beer, we proudly serve locally made gluten free Cider, our fave Okanagan wines a node to our Okanagan routes, dumped cocktails and mocktails with our draught drink base of house Marg Mix and tasty Ginger Beer from local Dentville Drinks. The latter two drinks are non-alcoholic bases, and we have Nonny Beer on draught and as well as to go, Squamish Water Kefir, other sodas and house-mixed punch on tap seasonally as well!
We love to play games and have a growing selection, you are also welcome to bring yours in. We love live music and hope to schedule it or vinyl nights on as many Saturdays as we can. We have regular weekly events like Music Bingo on Thursdays and Trivia On Tap on Tuesdays (these pause seasonally in the summer). We like to host community events and are proud to show up and get involved where we can.
We collaborated with lots of local businesses to turn our Tap Room into what it is today. We are deeply thankful for every one of them. This is what community is, and we are glad to be a part of it. A list of some of those who helped to make this magic happen is available on our “People,” page.
